Those things about relays, contactors, electrical contacts, contacts

Those things about relays, contactors, electrical contacts, contacts. I am sure all electricians are familiar with electromagnetic relays and contactors. Knowledge about these two electrical devices has long been shared by many colleagues. Today, the author only supplements the contact knowledge of electromagnetic relays and contactors.
Contact burning faults of electromagnetic relays and contactors are often encountered in our work. The reason for this is nothing more than two possibilities: First, the load current flowing through the contacts is relatively large, very close to the rated value. Although it does not exceed the rated value of the contact, it is easy to cause the contact to burn out for long-term use; in addition, for the above two electrical equipment, especially the contactor, most of their loads are inductive loads. Although the load current is not large, when the contacts are opened and released, they are easily damaged by arcing from the discharge of the inductive load. As far as electromagnetic relays and contactor contacts are concerned, -series and paralleling are popular in some practical applications. In some electrical circuits that require interlocking and interlocking control, if a single contact of a relay or contactor is used, the relay and contactor may act too fast, resulting in the circuit being unable to complete the switching of the action state. At this time, we can eliminate this phenomenon by connecting two or more contacts of the relay and the contactor in series, and adopting the method of increasing the contact action distance - correspondingly extending the action transition time.
Similarly, it can be known that when the contact capacity of relays and contactors is damaged due to large load current, it can be overcome by expanding the parallel connection of contacts. In short, the reasons for the burning of electromagnetic relays and contactors are relatively concentrated and easy to solve. In electrical control circuits, we can flexibly use contact wires and parallel connections to solve some practical problems.
